Install the required files, connect to Sinfar, and begin play.

Welcome to Sinfar

Unlike most other Neverwinter Nights servers, Sinfar uses a large amount of custom content and server-specific features. Before you can properly connect and play, you will need the required files and the correct setup path for your version of the game.

This page provides the basic installation routes for Diamond Edition, Enhanced Edition, and manual installation.

Choose Your Setup Path

Recommended for Windows Use the automatic installer if you are playing on Windows and want the simplest setup path. Sinfar Installer Project

Manual Installation Use manual installation if you are on Linux or Mac, if the installer does not work for you, or if you prefer to manage files yourself. Go to Manual Installation

Automatic Installer

The Sinfar Installer is intended to make setup easier for both new players and returning players installing Sinfar on a new system. The installer works for both the Enhanced Edition and Diamond Edition of Neverwinter Nights.

Antivirus False Positive Notice

The installer zip file, or the process of unzipping it, may sometimes trigger a Windows Defender warning. This has been reported as a false positive caused by the installer being unsigned.

Windows Defender may identify the file as:

Trojan:Script/Sabsik.FL.A!ml

The installer team is aware of this issue and is continuing to work on reducing or removing the warning. If you encounter this problem, please report it so it can be tracked.
