Your Player Tool

Find the menu you need for roleplay, appearance, player information, settings and everyday utilities.

Find a function

Choose a task below, or use Contents to jump directly to a named menu.

Open your Player Tool

The Player Tool brings together your appearance, roleplay actions, player information, dice, settings and everyday utilities. Keep Player Tool 1 on your quickbar for easy access.

Player Tool 1 — quickslot example (F10)

Example quickslot: F10. Any quickslot may be used.

F10 is the quickslot used in this example; it is not a required key binding.

Open the tool and choose a feature from PC Tool – Main Menu. Rest is the first option. Use Back to return or End to close the conversation.

If you see the location/target screen, choose Main Menu to return here.

Roleplay actions

Emotes

Choose Feeling, Social, Actions, Combat, Intimate, Laying, Hanging, Walking or Chair Sitting animations.

The same menu provides visual effects, camera height, manual positioning, speed, advanced options and Restore the animation.

Voice Chats

Browse voice lines in four categories: Combat, Feelings, Social and Tasks.

Dice and checks

Roll d2, d3, d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100. The menu also offers Ability Check, Skill Check and Saving Throw Check.

The pictured chat-command example is !ROLL2d100.

Appearance

Quick Appearance Change

Open Body, Clothing, Disguise, Back Equipment or Accessories. Disguise leads through account and character selection.

Other options include Strip, hiding your helmet or tail, showing wings while wearing a cloak, and pelvis appearance options.

Body appearance

Browse saved full-body appearances or save the appearance you are currently using.

You can also remove the visual effects associated with your body appearance.

Clothing appearances

Browse or save appearances for your helmet, cloak and armour. Each equipment category has its own list and save option.

Player information

Player List

Choose a character from the list to open their player information. Use Next to browse further entries.

The names pictured are examples from the screenshot.

Selected player information

View the character’s displayed player information, location, titles and status.

Open Titles & Achievements, examine their description, toggle Like/Dislike, or clear automatic consents with that character. Your own visibility controls are under Settings → Player List Status.

Settings & modes

Settings

Open Miscellaneous Settings, Player List Status, Henchmen, Subdual Mode, Immersive Mode, Resting or Chat Colour Settings.

The photographed submenus are explained below. The ON/OFF values shown belong to the captured character.

Miscellaneous Settings

Toggle attacks of opportunity, touching mode, PvP without consent and XP gain.

Touching mode disables collisions with other players. Enabling PvP Without Consent lets other players turn hostile without a consent notification.

Player List Status

Choose whether to hide your location or level, change your subrace, and set busy, feeling alone or looking for an in-character conversation.

Toggle the Action, Sex, PvP, OOC, FFA and Builders channels. Builders is labelled account-wide.

Subdual Mode

Set an automatic resurrection delay for characters you kill. Enter the delay in seconds: the menu’s example is 300 seconds = 5 minutes.

A value of 0 means no automatic resurrection.

Immersive Mode

Suppress OOC and public messages, including Shout and Tells.

Choose the automatic reply that people receive when they send you a tell.

Movement & utilities

Teleport

Choose from three options: “At this same location, I am stuck,” “Outside of this place,” or “Into a changing room.”

Miscellaneous Tools

Walk, remove your spell effects, save your character, check your location, list players or nearby listeners, and Like everyone.

Also available: Fix my party, Go AFK, knock on the nearest house door, manage quickbars, ignore/unignore tells, Relog, and Clear State and Relog.

Location and local guidebook

This screen shows your location and coordinates, and offers Open Local Area Guidebook or a return to Main Menu.

It also asks about targeting a nearby object. The screenshot does not establish which action opened this screen.
