Biography Clan Origins

Kali was born into Clan Razylym Wyr, a rare example of a red dragon clan structure. The clan was ruled by the alpha Voradonirax, who maintained dominance over several females. Offspring were forced into combat against one another, with only one surviving to adulthood. Kali survived this process and later underwent the tradition of leaving the clan to gain experience before potential reintegration.

Encounter with Morvath

While traveling, Kali encountered a village under threat from undead led by the necromancer Morvath Ge’hadoere Rehorngam. In exchange for payment, she fought to defend the settlement. During this conflict, Morvath used the curse Tsalcafa Vaerba, which began transforming Kali into a dracolich.

The Dracolich State

The curse weakened her until she fell into a coma. Her associate Jula sought aid from the mage Eternity and the war cleric Valis. Valis created a coin that required daily blood from Kali to keep her soul intact. Despite these efforts, the transformation advanced until external intervention became necessary.

Ritual of Mystra

A ritual was arranged at the Temple of Mystra. To strengthen it, Kali obtained the blood and skull of another red dragon. During the ritual, her dracolich form manifested and resisted the officiants, but the priests completed the procedure and broke the curse. The soul-brooch created by Valis was destroyed in the process.

Aftermath

Following her recovery, Kali considered herself physically altered and no longer representative of her original dragon form. She undertook a trial at a volcanic region near Mur Village to test and reshape her body through fire. The result left her scarred but stable, with lingering corruption in her draconic essence.
