OOC vs IC

Speerhausen: Changed the syntax of the eye-rolling example to match itself.

A player's guide to understanding IC (In Character) vs OOC (Out of Character) interactions .

Joining a new gaming community always takes some time to get used to, especially when the main focus of those communities can be different: PvP, RP, Social or any combination of those or others. What is said and done '''Out Of Character''' should not mix or affect what is said done and emoted '''In Character'''. Each player should do their best to not mix the two.

== Out of Character==
* Everything said and done as a player that is not considered roleplay.
* Every OOC comment should be marked as such, either with dialogue beginning with // or contained within (( ))
* OOC comments and chatter should be kept to a minimum in public, whether as a "talk" or a "whisper", because it can be disruptive to roleplay immersion.
* Don't go out of your way to abuse IC interactions, turning your ooc disagreements in character or bully players you might have a problem with.
* Sending a "tell" is an easy way to communicate with others, usually oocly; however, it should not be done to excess. Most players have a note in their bio noting whether they appreciate tells for whatever stated reason, or outright will ignore them. Sending repeated and unwanted tells is considered harassment.

== In Character==
* Everything which is done by your character, whether mechanically within the game engine or by emoting. What your character says and the action your character says is considered as IC.
* It's generally accepted that everyone emotes using a third person point of view, such as *She rolled her eyes*, as opposed to the first and third person, which would be *I rolled my eyes at you*, which is much more difficult to understand, especially on a multiplayer server.
* Character speech and action tend to be differentiated in a few popular ways, either by enclosing speech in "quotations", or by enclosing action in <nowiki>*asterisks*</nowiki>
* Any interaction within the game between players is generally considered to be in-character, whether an emote, a spell cast, an item trade or pvp combat. In all cases, though, it's expected that there has been roleplay leading up to that interaction, and that it is consensual.

== Additional Notes ==
Every community is different, and even someone who has been a part of the server for a decade can still forget how both ic and ooc communication is preferred here. As long as nothing's done with ill-intent, and isn't repeated incessantly, most players are both forgiving and happy to remind each other, especially when asked.

Rules

Speerhausen: Fixed a typo. It was bothering me

This has been updated to cover and clarify a larger area of potential issues. Rules are subject to change if we find players using loopholes to abuse them. Finally, a DM may make a ruling on something not listed if it is questionable - As long as the situation is shared with the other staff members

== GENERAL ==
* STAFF SWITCHING - Players who are found going to different staff members with the same issue because one staff member told them 'no' is against the rules. You are not to go to different DMs if one DM tells you no on an issue, trying to get a yes from someone else.

* PERMAKILLING - Only you, the player, have the right to say when your character should (if ever) be permakilled. It cannot be enforced upon you by another player. There are exceptions to this when a particular character has become a known villain, and does something to warrant such a fate. This can only be done by a DM through events with consent granted ahead of time. A new character may be granted if it is destroyed in this particular instance.

* CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS - It is strongly recommended that you work on a description for your characters. Descriptions are tools many people use for determining RP compatibility, and not having one can adversely impact your ability to find RP. You are responsible for the listing of your own lights. Only if someone violates your listed lights do you have any option for DM recourse. It is also advisable to ask the other player before indulging in extreme fetishes not listed in their lights. You, as a player, have the right to remove yourself from any sexual situation which makes you uncomfortable OOCly. These are primarily IC spaces used to further enhance RP. This is not a place for folks to vent about their OOC dislikes against certain character types or players in a hostile manner, AKA bashing. People read descriptions for the IC info, not what pisses you off OOCly. If a Description is found to be particularly offensive, you may be told to adjust it.

* SERVER/STAFF BASHING - We are more than happy to explain the reasoning for rules, events, changes, or general ideas but we aren't going to tolerate insults or mockery. Simply because you may not like something/someone doesn't mean we're going to act as a whipping post for your frustrations. This covers all areas - Chat channels, tells, and so forth.

== CHARACTER CREATION/MODIFICATION ==
* CHILD CHARACTERS or NPC's - Because of our environment and to prevent complications, NO child representation is welcome on Sinfar.

* CLONING - You may only have ONE active version of a character with a specific name across all your vault at any one time. Switching between several versions of the same character is against the rules. This includes both renaming characters and possessing/controlling other characters in your vault that represent one character's will. This also means characters cannot have the same names as each other, IE twins with the same surname not giving at least their first initial. Different characters of different builds may be used as long as they're appropriately labelled.

* CHARACTER REMAKES - We do not do XP transfers. So if you mucked up your level one stats you'll have to re-roll yourself. [Items can be transferred via bank]

* CHARACTER NAMES - Characters cannot be given names that incorporate discrimination, racial slang, derogatory or inflammatory religious or political commentary, or historic or figures from RL current events. It is not permitted to copy cat the names of existing Sinfar characters. It is also <nowiki><i>encouraged</i></nowiki> to avoid using the names of famous characters.

* STAFF ACCOUNT NAMES - Account names starting with "DM" are illegal. Anyone using them will be asked to change such. This is for active staff members only. This rule also applies using names that may be mistaken for active staff members, such as using NelaK2 or ItsAnotherBadger.

* UNTARGETTABLE APPEARANCES, and Characters Z shifted below ground level - This will be punished with immediate character deletion if any player is caught doing this.

* DISRUPTIVE APPEARANCES/TROLL CHARACTERS - While we promote and strongly encourage individuality here on Sinfar, there's also a line in which a creative idea becomes an interruption to RP.

== HARASSMENT (IC AND OOC) ==
* STALKING - You are not to follow another player around with the intention of disrupting their RP. You also must ALWAYS acquire PERMISSION to enter PRIVATE areas such as player housing or tavern/inn rooms. PSA on harassment and stalking: <nowiki>https://forum.sinfar.net/viewtopic.php?f=268&t=14248</nowiki>

* UNWANTED TELLS - You have the right to ignore tells, but if they persist and are not welcome you need to inform the player NOT to send you any more tells and document this with a screenshot (Capturing the whole exchange of tells after you tell them to stop). After telling the person to stop, do not reply to anything they might say afterwards. In your REST MENU>GENERAL TOOLS>TELL BLOCK is a feature you may use at your convenience.

* UNWANTED EMOTE-ANIMATIONS - Spamming voice emotes, bartering, and animations of any kind against a person or people can be considered harassment if you don't stop when asked to OOCly.

* TROLLING - This section is reserved for anything that may be missed which is not mentioned above that can be used to disrupt other players. We are not in the business of flogging players/characters we dislike, every case is reviewed by all staff members.

== ROLE PLAYING ==
* NO PEDOPHILIA - Performing any type RP sexually involving an underage character. (Doesn't matter the character race, each character must be of the proper maturity - 18 years or older). This will result in an IMMEDIATE ban.

* FOUL LANGUAGE USE - While it is completely fine to curse and use all sorts of curses in character, it is important to keep in mind this is a fantasy setting.

* SCAT/TOILET PLAY - These cannot take place on any level - IC or OOC - in a public place. If you wish participate in things of this nature, take it to a private location.

* ACRONYMNS - Things like "lol" and "k bbl" are not acceptable. Any place NOT clearly labelled OOC requires RP.

* RP COMBAT ROLLS - You need consent from the opposing player if you are going to use stat/skill rolls against them when it comes to offensive/aggressive actions. This system doesn't exist to abuse your +20 strength mod, or render you untouchable with your +20 dexterity mod. It is to enhance RP for certain situations.

== TRAFFIC LIGHTS ==
* The traffic light system works on the basis of safe and sane conduct. A player is entitled to list their lights in their bios and on the forums. These WILL be respected by players; intentional violation of the light system can result in a instantaneous ban for a variable length of time or even permanently.

* The light system can be used to effectively detail what you, as a player, enjoy or don't care for.

* This, however, has limits; such being you CAN'T red light a player/character, staff, PVP, IC repercussions, etc. The light system APPLIES DIRECTLY and EXCLUSIVELY to ADULT THEMED SITUATIONS, and cannot be used to report a player unless it is a direct violation of unwanted adult themes.

* Examples of adult themed situations include: Rape, any intercourse in general, dislike of certain genders, sexual torture; things of this nature.

* RED Lights - These are things that the player wishes to have no part of in their role-play.

* YELLOW Lights - These are things that may or may not make the player uncomfortable depending upon their mood at the time.

* GREEN Lights - Things that tend to be universally enjoyed by the player.

== PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER (PVP) ==
* MINDLESS PVP - All PVP needs RP prior to the engagement. Being Chaotic Evil is not an excuse to attack someone without warning. Being a Paladin is not an excuse to attack Demons or Devils on sight. There needs to be some form of interaction between the characters before PvP can ensue. If there's a questionable situation, you must take screenshots of any and all RP (Or lack thereof) leading up to the conflict. Please note that individual subservers may have clearer guidelines on this, such as Dreaded Lands and Arche Terre, but these rules still apply there.

* REQUEST SPAMMING - Repeated requests for PvP at any one time might constitute harassment. If a DM is called to investigate, we will speak to each party involved and see if there's a valid reasoning for the PvP requests. In areas that do not have consent options, if you spam dislike to disrupt ongoing PvP then it is considered exploiting.

* CONSEQUENCES - The PvP Rules do not give a character/player the right to keep taunting someone, knowing they are untouchable due the PvP Consent System/Rules. It is possible to override the PvP Consent in the marked areas if 3 unique people (The PVP system prevents the same player from using multiple accounts to override) in your party toggle dislike on another character repeatedly. This should ONLY be used as a last resort given the aforementioned reason. PSA on overrides/consequences: <nowiki>https://forum.sinfar.net/viewtopic.php?f=268&t=16082</nowiki>

* LOGGING OFF/SWITCHING CHARACTERS - If you do this to avoid PvP after initiating/engaging it upon other characters, you may be subject to punishment. Same applies to logging out or switching when your character is about to lose.

* DEFEAT - Whether you respawn, or arise from subdual after engaging in PvP with another person, you must wait at least 30 MINUTES before reengaging the same player/group in PvP. You are not to run off to rest and come back after losing. This does not give you the right to get up from Subdual or a respawn and continue to provoke other characters via RP either. Your character lost and needs to accept that. It can be considered harassment if this occurs.

* DM EVENTS - Participating in a DM managed event or plot you recognize the fact that you are open to potential PvP. You still have the rights to your traffic lights and even the DMs MUST respect those, should adult content be part of said event.

* ASSASSINATIONS - Just because someone hired your character to attack another does not give you a free pass in doing so. You need OOC permission to jump someone. This can be done through a DM to preserve the assassin's identity and may be best if the DM also monitors the situation. If you are '''informed''' about an impending assassination, you should not metagame this and buff up or immediately flee the area.

* TRANSITION HOPPING - This is where you move back and forth between transitions or abuse transitions to gain an advantage in PvP.

* RESIZED FORMS/APPEARANCES - Using any skin smaller than a halfling (3'4") in PvP is ILLEGAL.

* GRIEFING - This is when a player decides to take revenge on another player through PvP. It is an OOC engagement guised as RP. Switching to another character to taunt someone into combat. If any of these are suspected or reported, a DM will investigate and review logs/screenshots.

* PAVING - This is when a player or any of it's party members is acting immature and resurrecting the defeated player to instantly kill the character again. This is in all cases seen as trolling and considered ILLEGAL. If witnessed by a DM or reported , an appropriate punishment will be the result for all party members involved.

* ADDENDUM - If a player character is resurrected by one of the opposite party members the Defeat and Paving rules apply. If a player character is resurrected by one of their party members neither the Defeat nor Paving rules apply.

A Bystander is a player character who doesn't belongs to either party involved in the ongoing PvP. A Bystander resurrecting a defeated player character makes themselves eligible for immediate retaliation by the opposite party involved and can not pretend to neutrality. A Bystander resurrecting a defeated player character with the purpose to avoid the opposite party to be subject to the Paving rule will be considered member of the opposite party involved.

== CHAT CHANNEL USE ==
<nowiki>http://nwn.sinfar.net/dynamic_text.php</nowiki>? ... T_CHANNELS

* Pornography - While Sinfar is an adult server, the public chat channels and web client are not to be used to share links for pornography or other NSFW material. Any links that contain content that could violate Sinfar server rules will require us to punish the players accordingly. (NOTE: We realize there's a lot of NSFW portraits, so if you find yourself finding opinions on such if would be best to mention you want opinions and to send you tells for those interested in seeing it)

* GROUP/KINK BASHING - Publicly bashing/mocking/taunting groups of characters (Furries, Transgenders, Catlings, etc) or various fetishes is not to be tolerated. You'll get a warning for doing so. You're entitled to opinions, such as "I don't really like this type of RP/ERP" but not claiming something as fact which is rooted in opinion such as "People who do this are disgusting inhuman monsters" or even just saying that "x is wrong."

* DISCRIMINATION - Like the rule above, please refrain from using any offensive slang against any particular RL group of people based on their race, ethnicity, gender, religion, etc.

* SPAM - The chat channels exist to increase communication among players, not for one or two players to post trollish/silly messages in rapid fire sequence, nor is it okay to provide a detailed walkthrough of a game you're playing or movie you're watching. If things get a bit excessive you'll be reminded to ease up.

* For the EVENT CHANNEL - One post per 1 hour regarding a single event.)

* ROLE PLAYING - Besides the channels that can be used for IC postings (Event, Action, Sex, etc) you should not be RPing out scenes or various situations with other players. Find them IG and have fun!

* HARASSMENT - Should be rather obvious. Calling someone out by their player name or character name in a negative light. This isn't a place to gossip.

== DISCORD RULES ==

* GROUP/KINK BASHING - Publicly bashing/mocking/taunting groups of characters (Furries, Transgenders, Catlings, etc) or various fetishes (I really don't want to list any) is not to be tolerated.

* DISCRIMINATION - No offensive slang or images/memes against any particular RL group of people or country based on their race, ethnicity, gender, religion or political opinion, etc.

* SPAM - The Sinfar Discord channels exist to increase communication among players, not for one or two players to post trollish/silly messages, nor is it okay to provide a detailed walkthrough of a game you're playing or movie you're watching.

* Text and images not complying to these rules will be removed and if it becomes to often you will be set on time-out and eventually banned from the Sinfar Discord if it continues.

Running a game as old as Neverwinter Nights on modern hardware means that changes need to be made.

== Recommended Settings for Diamond Edition on Lutris ===
Once you have Neverwinter Nights listed under your installed game, there are a few changes that need to be made in order to play. Right click the banner for Neverwinter Nights, then Configure to bring up that menu.

Under the first tab, "Game Info", you can change the name of the game to "Sinfar", if you'd like, it won't affect anything aside from what you see. The next tab is much more important. As a disclaimer, though, different users have had different results when getting into some of the runner options. If you do feel a need to experiment, Lutris will tell you which options are on or off by default.

=== Game Options ===
Firstly, you will need to change the executable from NWN.EXE to Sinfarx.EXE, which should already be in the same folder by this point. None of the other options should change, as they should already have the path to your main NWN installation.

=== Game Options ===
Firstly, you will need to change the executable from NWN.EXE to Sinfarx.EXE, which should already be in the same folder by this point. None of the other options should change, as they should already have the path to your main NWN installation.

A player's guide to understanding IC (In Character) vs OOC (Out of Character) interactions .

Joining a new gaming community always takes some time to get used to, especially when the main focus of those communities can be different: Pvp, Rp, Social or any combination of those or others. What is said and done Out Of Character should not mix or affect what is said done and emoted In Character. Each player should do their best to not mix the two.

== Out of Character==

== In Character==
* Everything which is done by your character, whether mechanically within the game engine or by emoting. What your character says and the action your character says is considered as IC.
* It's generally accepted that everyone emotes using a third person point of view, such as *She rolled her eyes*, as opposed to the first and third person, which would be "I rolled my eyes at you", which is much more difficult to understand, especially on a multiplayer server.

== Additional Notes ==
Every community is different, and even someone who has been a part of the server for a decade can still forget how both ic and ooc communication is preferred here. As long as nothing's done with ill-intent, and isn't repeated incessantly, most players are both forgiving and happy to remind each other, especially when asked.

This page will detail how to connect to Sinfar using the NWN Enhanced Edition. Like the standard Diamond Edition, it will list resources needed to play but also problems that may occur which are not present for Diamond Edition. Overall, using EE is not recommend when or where Diamond Edition is available, but EE will work about 95% of the time with a few fixes. First, we recommend you join our Discord server for any questions, concerns and answers.

This page will have some details specifically for using the Enhanced Edition on Windows. For the standard Diamond Edition, see [[Getting Started - Usind Diamond Edition|this page]]. For Diamond Edition on Linux, see [[Getting Started - Diamond Edition on Linux|this page]].

== Connect with us ==
Be ready to ask questions and find friends to play with already, the best place is our Discord server: https://https://discord.gg/jVaNBmj

You can also use our forum: https://forum.sinfar.net (Ask players in game or discord for the password to sign up)

There is various in-game tools and information available on https://nwn.sinfar.net

== Enter the Persistent World of Sinfar ==
To play on the Sinfar server, you will need copy of Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition as well as the Sinfar custom launcher and hak files. This version is specifically for NWN Enhanced Edition, although Sinfar runs natively on Diamond Edition we have a custom, backwards-compatible launcher. As mentioned, there are a few problems and we'll cover as many of them as possible. EE can be purchased from various outlets but buying it from https://www.gog.com/ also comes with a bonus copy of Diamond Edition for a more stable experience for those who do not own the game already.

To play on Sinfar, you additionally need to download our custom [[hak]] files. You can use the full download link [https://sinfar.net/haks/sinfar_all_files_v30.7z here], or visit the hak page for individual downloads. For Enhanced Edition users, haks are installed in your Documents/Neverwinter Nights sub-folder.
[[File:Using nwn ee 20200507-003853.png|thumb]]
[[File:Using nwn ee 20200507-003813.png|thumb]]
Lastly, you will need the [[Sinfar Client Extender|Sinfar Client Extender (SinfarX)]] ([https://nwn.sinfar.net/files/sinfarx/8181/win32_8181.zip direct download link.]). This is a custom launcher similar to NWNCX that adds additional functionality for the Sinfar Server exclusively. This is only for Sinfar and using it will not work on any other EE servers. If you do not have the SinfarX Launcher, you will not be able to connect to the Sinfar servers even with direct connecting. The launcher must be in a separate folder inside the game install folder/bin as in the screenshot.

To avoid many EE incompatibilities, you must also download a list of override files to revert EE changes to a variety of tileset features. You can find those [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iPc5Tds0MgChUq1BtbhUU9Ut6B5upOk_/view?usp=sharing here]. They must be added into the ''ovr'' folder inside the ''win32_8181'' folder where the launcher is included.

When connecting to the server, you will be asked to input an account name with a button to set the chosen name as default. Note that if you click the default button, you will need to edit the game .ini files to change your designated account name - if you use multiple accounts, it's best '''not''' to check the box and input the desired account name every time.
[[File:Direct Connect.png|thumb]]
To find the Sinfar servers, use the Direct Connect option and input the server DNS URL, nwn.sinfar.net. You can optionally put in the port for specific servers, but this is not required.

== Create a New Character and First Login ==
Using Diamond Edition, you are currently unable to make new characters. Due to an incompatibility with Sinfar and EE, you will crash at the final character creation stage at "Customize". If you have previously played on Sinfar before and have a functioning account with at least one character, you can request another player using Diamond Edition to make characters for you and transfer them to your account.

If you've never played on Sinfar before, you will need a Diamond Edition player to help you make your initial account. To do so, you must give them the desired account name (check https://nwn.sinfar.net/search_characters.php to ensure that the desired account name is not already taken). You can additionally specify a character to make, making note of the below steps. The helper must now connect, using Diamond Edition, and make a character for you. After that, the help must go to https://nwn.sinfar.net/my_account.php and log in with the newly created account - they set a simple password which they must inform you of.

You must then log in on the same page with the given account details and on the My Account page, change the access password and click the "Unlock My Account" button. Keep the "Clear the current CD keys" box ticked as this will restrict the Helper from once again accessing it.

=== Making New Characters ===
When or if you should want additional characters, you should find your helper or a new Diamond Edition player. The following character attributes are fixed at character creation so it's important to inform your helper of these:
* Race
* Class
* Abilities
* Packages

Packages includes starting skills, feats, spells etc. Racial appearances can be changed later, but the stats cannot.

Once they've made the character using their own account, they can go to the "Vichan" NPC in the OOC rooms and use the "Move tihs charactero another player vault." option.

This page will detail how to connect to Sinfar, while using Lutris on a Linux installation. For any questions, concerns or queries, join our Discord server for the easiest access to answers.

Lutris is an easy way to install and launch games regardless of what system they were originally designed for, emulating that system. In this case, we're using Neverwinter Nights as it was released for Windows.

== Enter the Persistent World of Sinfar ==
To play on the Sinfar server, you will need copy of Neverwinter Nights 1 as well as the Sinfar custom launcher and hak files. Sinfar does '''not''' use the newer Enhanced Edition (EE) of Neverwinter Nights. To get a copy of NWN1, we recommend buying EE on https://www.gog.com/ which also gives an extra copy of the base Diamond Edition, which includes the two necessary expansion packs. The game is regularly on sale on various platforms, whether you use the recommended GOG one or another. These instructions will assume that it was purchased on GOG, and will give the easiest series of steps.

Lutris can be found at https://lutris.net/. Heading to their downloads page, you can find the version for your Linux distribution. Detailed instructions for installing on a Steam Deck can also be found there.
[[File:InstallationLutris1.png|thumb]]

Once Lutris is installed,you can find headers on the left side of the Lutris menu. Under "sources", you can find GOG. Click the button labeled "connect", entering your account information to login.

This should bring up a list of games listed in your GOG account. To run Sinfar, we need to install Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition. When given the choice of which installation to use, pick Diamond for Windows v1.69, and not the native linux version. Be sure to get your unique CD Keys. For instructions how to find these in the GOG Galaxy client or on the GOG account site,[https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010674374-Neverwinter-Nights-Enhanced-Edition-Where-to-find-the-key-?product=gog here]

Your copy of Neverwinter Nights is now installed and accessible by the Lutris launcher, under the Games section, but you aren't done yet.

To play on Sinfar, you additionally need to download our custom [[Hak Files]]. The hak files must be installed in the game's install directory unless manually changed to different folders. You will also need the Sinfar Client Extender (SinfarX) (direct download link.). This is a custom launcher similar to NWNCX that adds additional functionality for the Sinfar Server exclusively. You should never use this to play on other servers.

You can access the proper folders for your installation by right clicking Neverwinter Nights and selecting "browse files". All downloaded files should be copied into their corresponding labeled folders, including the Sinfar extender in your main folder.

Once your Sinfar specific files have been added, there are configuration changes you need to make. Some of them are necessary and others might need to be changed depending on your own personal circumstances.

Launching the game and going to the Multiplayer Menu, you will be presented with the Player Login screen. Even if you never played NWN before, you do not need to use the Create New Account feature - simply put in the account name you desire and any key for a password.
[[File:NWN Account Login.png|thumb]
[[File:Direct Connect.png|thumb]]
After setting your account name, click ''Join Internet Game''. You will get an error that "''Connection failed, try another Nick."'' Click ''Cancel'' and select ''Direct Connect'' and type in the DNS for Sinfar: nwn.sinfar.net and click OK (you can include the port, ''nwn.sinfar.net:5121'', to connect to the main server or '':5122'' to connect to the Dreaded Lands server, etc, but this is not necessary).

The game is regularly on sale on various platforms, whether you use the recommended GOG one or another.[[File:NWN Account Login.png|thumb]]After installing Diamond Edition, you may need to install the patch [https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/other/patch/169-critical-rebuild-english 1.69 Critical Rebuild] if installed via GOG. '''Be sure to get your unique CD Keys'''.
To play on Sinfar, you additionally need to download our custom [[Hak Files]]. You can use the full download link [https://sinfar.net/haks/sinfar_all_files_v30.7z here], or visit the hak page for individual downloads. The hak files must be installed in the game's install directory unless manually changed to different folders.

Lastly, you will need the [[Sinfar Client Extender|Sinfar Client Extender (SinfarX)]] ([https://nwn.sinfar.net/files/sinfarx.exe direct download link.]). This is a custom launcher similar to NWNCX that adds additional functionality for the Sinfar Server exclusively. You should never use this to play on other servers.

Launching the game and going to the Multiplayer Menu, you will be presented with the Player Login screen. Even if you never played NWN before, you do not need to use the Create New Account feature - simply put in the account name you desire and any key for a password.

== Create a New Character ==
Click the “New Character” button and follow the steps. You can create as many characters as you want so don't spend to much time on your first one. Also, the following new character options can be fully changed later:

* Gender
* Portrait
* Alignment
* Customize
Additionally, the race appearance can be changed later. That means that only your '''Class''', '''Abilities''' and everything under '''Packages''' is locked in place upon character creation.

Speerhausen: How to install Sinfar Diamond Edition using Lutris

To play on Sinfar, you additionally need to download our custom [[hak]] files. You can use the full download link [https://sinfar.net/haks/sinfar_all_files_v30.7z here], or visit the hak page for individual downloads. The hak files must be installed in the game's install directory unless manually changed to different folders.
